Online Double Dutch Course: Progress at Your Own Pace

Our online Double Dutch course offers a pathway across 6 levels:

guided videos, regular challenges and a variety of opportunities (castings, recruitment, events approved by the Academy).

Prerequisites: one pair of Double Dutch ropes and one skipping rope.

These online pathways are an excellent complement to in-person practice and an alternative if there is no club nearby.

Our Pathways

Pathway 1 — Online Double Dutch Classes (students)

Prerequisites: one pair of Double Dutch ropes + one skipping rope.

Objectives: jump, turn, use music, perform acrobatics, create a show, improve (including the possibility to apply for artistic performances or technical services).

Format: videos on the platform, 6 levels, regular challenges, announcements for castings and events.

Access: annual — 25% off for members of a physical academy.

Pathway 2 — Online Coach Training (coaches)

Prerequisites: one pair of Double Dutch ropes + one skipping rope.

Objectives: technical basics (jumping/turning), teaching methodology, show creation, running a group, leading initiations and regular classes.

Format: videos + explanatory PDFs, platform, 6 levels, recruitment announcements for interventions.

Access: annual — 25% off for members of a physical academy.

To teach professionally, an official sports instructor diploma may be required depending on national regulations.

Pathway 3 — Create & Manage Your Academy Online (academy leaders)

Prerequisites: must be an adult.

Objectives: create the structure, manage basic administration, find a venue, recruit instructors, attract members, communicate, fund activities, mobilise a network of partners.

Format: videos + PDFs, platform, opportunities from cities wishing to host the practice.

Access: annual — 25% off for members of a physical academy.

Can I teach after the coach pathway?

The coach training provides the technical and pedagogical foundations specific to Double Dutch.
To teach professionally, an official sports instructor diploma may be required depending on the country (BAFA, BAPAAT/CQP, BPJEPS, STAPS, etc.).

Yes — castings and recruitments are posted for certain performances, workshops and events approved by the Academy (see also our shows).
